Completing Partial Address Using Street Address and Town Name or ZIP® Code Identifies all key elements of an address Example: If you put in the address '444 hoes, piscataway, nj' you get one match:
. . .the match provides the missing ZIP code and town name associated with it (Piscataway), the smallest incorporated place (township), the county (Middlesex), and street segment/block information. The LocateIt System also filled in the street type (Lane)." |

Address Validation Using Partial Address Information
Example: If you put in '5 fieldstone pl, flemington' you get one match:

Provides a map of an area around a user defined reference point.
Example: See attachment. It is output from the LocateIt System mapping service in the GIF format. It is a map with a .25 mi radius around 5th and 34th in New York City. Notice how each block is labeled with the street name and house numbers. |

For a specified area code / exchange (NPA / NXX), provides V & H, LATA, Company code, and CLLI codes along with address, geopolitical, and geographic data for the serving wire center.
Example: Lookup of '908 699' results in:

To get the coordinates for locations that don't have an exact street address such as cell sites, telephone poles, radio ports, etc., you can use offsets:

A survey may provide locations in Latitude / Longitude, but the telecommunications and cable industries require V & H coordinates.

The "street search" provides a mechanism to find all street names in a state, county, ZIP code, town, or MCD.
Example: A search to find all streets in Middlesex county that begin with "kni", results in:

All intersections and/or CLLIs within a given radius of a reference point can be identified.
Example: A search of all intersections within a .3 mile radius around the point '444 hoes la, piscataway, nj' produces:
